WHAT IS CREATIVE PEOPLE & PLACES HOUNSLOW?
Creative People and Places Hounslow (CPP Hounslow) is an Arts Council England funded project that brings local people together to create fun and joyful arts experiences across the borough.
We put the decisions and views of local people at the heart of everything we do. Together, we’re creating a Colourful, Confident and Creative Hounslow!

OUR PROGRAMMES
Local Advisory Groups
CPP Hounslow supports four Local Advisory Groups (LAGs) made up of local people who develop creative activities, events and workshops in their areas. These are based in Feltham, Hounslow Central, Heston & Cranford and Brentford. Find out more here.
Visual Arts Programme
The CPP Hounslow Visual Arts Programme is led by a group of local residents through the Hounslow Exhibitions Group (HEG) who commission and produce exhibitions that tour a network of six of Hounslow’s public libraries. It also includes a network of Community Gallery Spaces that showcase local organisations and artists, and an annual series of workshops, events and artists talks. Find out more here.
Participatory Arts Groups
CPP Hounslow supports a range of arts groups in the borough: Hounslow Community Brass Band, Hounslow Ukulele Collective and Shakti Divas (a Bhangra fusion Dance Group). Find out more about the groups here or sign up to take part.
Creative Network
Through a partnership with Creative Enterprise West (CREW), part of the Mayoral Creative Enterprise Zone initiative across London, the Creative Network provides support and networking opportunities for local creatives and artists. Find out more about the network and Hounslow Connects here.
Polish Community Development
We work closely with two Polish residents associations – Clan and Wawel – to increase access to arts and culture for Hounslow’s significant Polish community.
Outdoor arts events
In addition to the above, CPP Hounslow delivers and supports mass participatory outdoor arts events on Hounslow High Street. This includes events at bell square, an exciting outdoor arts space at the end of Hounslow High Street and the Winter Lights Festival in partnership with Same Sky.
