Market Hack is an open, collaborative making and technology event bringing together South African makers, designers, artists and the public at the wonderful Neighbourhoods Market.
Taking place right at the heart of this vibrant and welcoming meeting point in Braamfontein, Market Hack will engage participants and visitors in a day of making, learning, cretaive exchange and networking.

Join in a great community of designers, artists, makers and participants from AMAZE. / Johannesburg 2014 and Connect ZA at Neighbourgoods Market on Saturday 13 September and take part in a fun day packed with free and creative electronics demonstrations and activities.

Special guests: Bare Conductive, Codasign, Daniel Hirschmann/Technology Will Save Us and BushveldLabs. Market Hack is part of AMAZE./Johannesburg and funded by the British Council. A panel discussion coinciding with the Market Hack and exploring DIY media, artistic and maker practices in South Africa, and the importance of making and maker communities.

With Daniel Hirschmann (Technology Will Save Us), Carly Whitaker, Dino Fizzotti, Rouan van der Ende plus Jarryd Bekker & Daniel Jacobus De Kock (BushveldLabs).
